Summer is coming soon and Rootwords is back with a new groovy and refreshing single that will delight reggae, hip-hop fans and more !

Rootwords’ debut album The Rush, released in 2014 in Switzerland (Kinyama Records / Irascible) and France (Soulbeats Records / Harmonia Mundi), allowed him to show his deep love for music, without boarders or limitations, to fully express his art and wit.
With this new reggae hip-hop single ("Just Say It"), Rootwords once again reaffirms his commitment to multiculturalism, with energy and strength, and with substantial lyrics that convey a message, as he always does.

The music is inspired by jamaican rub-a-dub, in the vein of the productions from the 80s, with a very characteristic dry and tight snare drum. The tempo cruises and is supported by a bass line which drives the instrumental with its particular energy.

NB: Rootwords is working on a new EP, collaborating with a bunch of beatmakers. This new project is scheduled to be released before the end of the year.
